A Special Election for one seat on the St. Francis Area Schools School Board will occur on Tuesday, Nov. 4. A Meet the Candidates event is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. at the District Office. The event is hosted by the St. Francis Area Schools Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC).
The community is invited to meet the one candidate who filed for the special election to get a better idea of the experience they can bring to the school board. The one candidate is Interim School Board member Jessica Bakken-Kleven. The event will include an interview-style format with Bakken-Kleven answering questions developed and gathered from the CEAC.
