It has become an annual field trip for eighth grade students at St. Francis Middle School to visit Anoka Technical College and Anoka-Ramsey Community College. The trip educates students about the different types of career opportunities they will have after high school, which could also help them with course selections in high school.
On Feb. 20, all eighth grade students had the chance to tour the two campuses and spend a couple of hours learning about different areas of study that each of the schools offer. The sessions of about 20-25 minutes had engaging activities where students got a glimpse into certain programs and the careers they could lead to. View photos from the experience.
